Solar oralizer The Solar oraliser is a self-powered sound generation system. It is comprised of a solar panel hooked up to an array of speakers via an electrical inversion system. The energy harnessed by the solar panel is converted in real time into a continuous audio tone, oralising the solar potential at any give moment. The pitch and volume correspond to fluctuations in light/dark attenuating from a low whistle at sun rise to high pitched scream during mid day. Date of design/manufacture: 2006 |
