The black tower is very nearly done, its activated by sound – when you make a noise it goes into a mechanical spasm, the heavy chain being pulled by the large industrial solenoids switching itself on and off 8 times per second. . .the metal box underneath will be filled with sand – to stop it creeping across the floor. . .

Finally got the pedal for the doppler siren tower working, but still needs minor adjustments due to the difference between the stroke of the throttle and clutch ram. The doppler rotor has a limited effect due to the speed of the motor and strength of the gear. . .
Recently put the brace frame for electromagnetic displacement mechanism together, the electromagnets pull a sheet of steel toward them activated by sensors. The main problem is that the magnets work better with thicker material, the thicker the material the less is can bend. Once again many limitations found when working with magnets.
